Invest in the Future

First-class facilities provide a competitive advantage in recruiting and the transformation of the student-athlete. Not only do facilities impact student-athletes, but facilities also have an instrumental impact on the fan experience. Consistent upgrades to scoreboards, seating opportunities, and hospitality clubs are extremely important to the game day atmosphere. Altogether, facility projects enhance the student-athlete experience and fan amenities. Invest in one of the capital projects and help transform the future of Louisiana Athletics.

RCAF

Champions Fund

Creating champions in competition, classroom, and community is a top priority for Louisiana Athletics. The RCAF CHAMPIONS FUND is the main source of support in creating a firstclass experience for the 400+ Ragin’ Cajuns student-athletes. In order to continue to win championships, it is critical to engage with Cajun Nation and friends to grow the base of support for the RCAF Champions Fund. The Champions Fund directly supports:

SCHOLARSHIPS / NUTRITION / ATHLETIC MEDICINE / STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING / RECRUITING / COMPETITIVE EXCELLENCE

INVEST IN CHAMPIONS

In competition, classroom, and community

Currently, UL Athletics budget ranks 7th of 14 schools in the Sun Belt Conference, and the cost of creating a championship experience for Ragin' Cajuns student-athletes continues to rise. In order to continue to win championships, it is critical to engage with Louisiana alumni and friends to grow the base of support for the RCAF Champions Fund.

TENNIS FACILITIES

Cajun Courts, the home of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's and women's tennis programs, enters its 38th season as the venue for both programs. Looking to the future, the forthcoming upgrades to the tennis facility will further enhance the experience for UL Tennis student-athletes and fans. The enhancements will include new grandstands, creating an enhanced viewing experience, along with new courts and renovations to the Culotta Tennis Center, ensuring that Cajuns student-athletes and coaches have access to the finest facilities as they strive to create a championship experience.

GOLF CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Fundraising is currently underway for a state-of-the-art short game practice facility for the Ragin Cajuns' Golf Program, with renowned architect Baxter Spann at the helm. Spanning over 100,000 square feet, the facility's design includes three greens and three bunkers strategically positioned to simulate real-world challenges faced on championship courses. With an array of shot variations available, the facility aims to better prepare Louisiana Golfers for upcoming competitions, promising to elevate the standards of training and performance for the Ragin Cajuns' Golf Program.

Sport-Specific

Giving

Each Louisiana Athletics program has a sport-specific foundation fund that allows fans to make a direct impact on their respective programs. Contributing to these sport-specific programs plays a significant role in helping each sport compete at the highest level possible. Supplemental funds are used as each coach sees necessary, often supporting the programs in areas such as travel, recruiting, meals, apparel, and more. Please note that contributions towards a sport-specific program receive priority points, count towards members' total investment, but do not count towards your RCAF Champions Fund membership contribution.

Cajuns

Edge

Intercollegiate athletics has entered a new era, and with the changing landscape, Louisiana Athletics and Cajun Nation must be ready to adapt and embrace a fresh perspective on how to continue to win championships while providing student-athletes with a one-of-kind experience! Beginning in the 2025-26 academic year, Ragin’ Cajuns Athletics will directly share revenue with Louisiana student-athletes. To continue providing a one-of-a-kind experience, recruit and retain top talent nationwide, and win championships, the RCAF is launching The Cajuns Edge Fund.

Contributions to this fund will directly support Louisiana’s sport programs and their ability to participate in revenue sharing with Ragin’ Cajuns student-athletes. Cajuns Edge will be underneath the RCAF and will serve as another area of support for tax deductible philanthropic gifts. In addition to Cajun Nation being able to directly impact competitive rosters, fans will now earn RCAF Priority Points, Investor Ranking, Membership Benefits by contributing to the Cajuns Edge. Be the competitive advantage by committing to the Cajuns Edge today to transform current and future Louisiana Athletics rosters and compete for championships!

Cajuns Edge is a new philanthropic fund under the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation (RCAF) that supports Louisiana Athletics’ ability to share revenue directly with student-athletes, beginning in the 2025–26 academic year.

The launch follows the finalization of the House v. NCAA settlement, which allows universities to distribute up to $20.5 million annually to student-athletes. Cajuns Edge ensures Louisiana Athletics can remain competitive while supporting student-athletes in this new era.

Funds from Cajuns Edge will be used to directly support student-athletes through revenue sharing, in addition to scholarships, NIL earnings, and other benefits. This helps enhance their overall collegiate experience and financial well-being.

Louisiana Athletics has developed a budget-neutral model by reallocating internal resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Cajuns Edge provides an additional avenue for external support from fans, donors, and businesses.

Yes! Contributions from individuals and businesses are welcomed and encouraged. Donors will receive tax-deductible benefits, RCAF Priority Points, Investor Rankings, and exclusive membership perks.

No. Cajuns Edge supports direct revenue sharing from the university to student-athletes. NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) deals are separate, third-party agreements between student-athletes and outside businesses. Both can coexist and benefit student-athletes.

Krewe Allons will still exist and operate the annual Louisiana Athletics Mardi Gras Parade. Contributions to Krewe Allons will be discontinued. Please consider supporting Cajuns Edge in lieu of previous commitments to Krewe Allons.

All NIL agreements must now be reported through the NIL Go platform, a new system designed to ensure transparency and compliance with NCAA and institutional guidelines.

Contributions will be made through the RCAF and can be directed specifically to Cajuns Edge. Visit here to join Cajuns Edge Today.

Absolutely. By supporting Cajuns Edge, fans and donors directly impact Louisiana’s ability to recruit, retain, and develop top-tier talent, helping the Ragin’ Cajuns compete for championships.
